Synopsis: An explosion next to a cocktail party kills several participants to an international drug cartel fight conference. The fatal victims include a priest, an Ecuadorian prosecutor and, in smithereens, waitress Lisa Winnaker, who turns out to have been raped and murdered before the explosion, which was not a bomb but probably surprised the arsonist. Lisa dated Colombian judge Dolores Ramos's boisterous son Antonio, who also enjoys diplomatic immunity, a privilege jealously 'babysitted' by State Department official Alex Radswell, a midget who according to Bones abuses sympathy.
