	Synopsis: D.W. recounts the story of his first encounter with Dr. Reggie Bushroot, a research scientist at St. Canard University with a love of both plants and Dr. Rhoda Dendron. However, he was constantly tormented by his fellow scientists, and as his experiments had as of yet yielded no results, the dean of the university planned to shut down funding for his research. As a last resort, he used a device to inject his own body with the DNA of a plant. At first seemingly unsuccessful, it not only gave him the ability to gain nutrients from the sun, but literally changed him into a half-duck, half-plant creature. He was hoping to prove his success to the others, but all but Dr. Dendron ridiculed his new form. However, he soon found his new body had given him mental control over other plants, and used them to take revenge on his aggressors one by one.
