	Synopsis: The body of lawyer Anaan Kamel, shot through the head, is dragged from a river. Her brother Bilal had assaulted her because he guessed she was having an affair and also blames her husband Raheel for her abandoning her faith but denies killing her. Next day Marcus Leyton, a work colleague of Anaan and her presumed lover, is found shot dead in his car at the scene where Anaan's body was thrown into the river. Prime suspect is vicious loan shark Lewis Hargreaves whom Marcus helped send to prison but he has an alibi. Fisherman Geoff Dwyer, who witnessed the slayings, reckons that Hargreaves was not the killer, identifying instead one of Hargreaves' henchmen, whose arrest is ordered by Banks.
