	Synopsis: After a 30-year career in the Navy, an aged retired chief petty officer requests a new trial in a court-martial about his involvement in an alleged mutiny after the disastrous explosion at the US Naval Magazine, Port Chicago, California, in 1944. Loren prosecutes in her usual hard-nosed way, and Sturgis defends. Sturgis's father, a retired captain in the Navy Chaplain Corps, takes part. While Bud continues aboard his new duty station at sea, Harriet searches for a home for her family, and she gets help from Harm. She finds the house she wants, and, using a power of attorney which Bud left with her before he left, she enters into a contract to buy it -- without first discussing it with him and without following Harm's advice to tell him.
