	Synopsis: When Carol suspects her mentor, Judge Hannibal Kearns, may be in trouble, she turns to Magnum for help. Following Kearns, they see the judge meet with the defendant from his most recent case, a case the judge inexplicably threw out before Carol could even present her arguments. Magnum and Carol confront Kearns, but the judge refuses to admit anything. Late that night, Carol finds Kearns dead. Tanaka is ready to rule the case a suicide, but Carol believes otherwise. Magnum vows to find whoever is responsible. Meanwhile, Rick plans a surprise birthday party for his friend Icepick. Little does he suspect that Icepick is about to be dragged into the middle of Magnum's investigation into the death of Judge Kearns.
