Synopsis: Sam leaps into Bobo, a chimpanzee-in-training for the manned space flight program in 1961. Bobo is under the care of Dr. Leslie Ashton who is trying to prove that "her" chimps can do almost anything a human could do. Al tells him that it is essential that he be one of the two chimps selected for spaceflight otherwise Bobo will be found dead with a severe head trauma. Unbeknown to Dr. Ashton, a colleague is experimenting with crash helmet durability using the chimps as crash test dummies. When Bobo isn't selected for the space program it looks like he's done for and if Sam can't leap before the helmet test, it's the end for him as well.
