Synopsis: The Hammersley must escort the 'monster', a prisoner, from Stokes Island to a mainland prison. The only doctor there, John Wallace, insists he's another victim of mining chemicals causing an excessive number of tumors on the island, especially in children. Fishery scientist Jason Merritt dismisses this as usual plot theory due to the doc's home-distilled rum. However the 'monster' dies while restrained and the exploded distillery is not the only target on Stokes Island. RO grudgingly helps Dutchy search for his secret service file after agent Cruise hinted at the war hero being a 'security risk', only to regret it. When Mike asks Maxine why his bone marrow matches Ryan's father unlike boy's, she lies first, then admits he's probably Ryan's biological father. |
