	Synopsis: The crew of Deep Space Nine is on Torga IV in the Gamma Quadrant. The planet is believed to contain cormaline deposits. While determining the feasibility of a mining operation, suddenly a Jem'Hadar warship crashes into the surface. The crew is dead. Sisko decides to salvage it. Then another Jem'Hadar ship arrives. They attack. The crew is forced to retreat into the crashed ship. Engineer Muniz is badly hurt by a phaser blast. Then suddenly the attack stops. It seems the Jem'Hadar are not prepared to wage war inside the ship. A Vorta is even prepared to negotiate and the Jem'Hadar try unusual sneak tactics to gain access. Sisko gets a very strong feeling there's something going on, that there's an object so important in the ship, that the Jem'Hadar can't risk destroying it. While the crew try to find out what it is and the troops of the Dominion lay siege, time is running out for Muniz.
