Synopsis: Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson has recently joined the LAPD and has relocated to Los Angeles from Atlanta. Recruited by her new boss, Assistant Chief Will Pope, Brenda is having difficulty being accepted by her new team, formed to deal with high-profile murders. In her first case, Brenda investigates the murder of a woman who is found in the home of Dr. Eliot Collier, a mathematician who has been missing for two weeks now. Oddly however, they can only find the victim's fingerprints in Collier's house. Her superior interrogations technique demonstrates to her staff that she is miles ahead of them when it comes to solving complex cases. Brenda also gets a call from an old friend, Fritz Howard, an FBI agent. |
