Synopsis: Marissa visits Johnny at his house after his accident to see how he is doing and meets his friendly nurse mother Gwen where she tries to help Johnny get an operation for his leg injury, but they cannot afford the high medical costs. Elsewhere, Summer and Seth try to join school extracurricular activities as part of their personal quests to be different. Meanwhile, Julie and Kirsten get a contract for their new catering business where Julie latches onto a potential client. Also, Ryan learns more about Matt Ramsey when he tags along with him and Sandy when they meet with investors for Newport Group, and covers for Matt when he slacks off during a night on the town.
