Synopsis: Jack, Janet and Chrissy discover that their rent money for Mr. Roper turns up missing. Thinking they were robbed, they've asked a police officer to explain the situation to Roper, but to no avail. Therefore, the kids try to concoct a plan to make up for the money. Meanwhile, Mr. Roper wants to invite the kids out to dinner, at the urging of Mrs. Roper. When he visits the kids' apartment to extend the invitation, they sneak out, thinking that Mr. Roper is wanting to collect the rent money. |
